As you view the resources available, use the information to complete the CLOZE story and determine which Disney “trivia tidbits” you will want to use in your advertising project. A planned itinerary would be so helpful to those interested in vacationing at the Magic Kingdom. You and your partner will have created your ideal plan to recommend.

Conclusion

Hopefully your day in the Magic Kingdom has been a memorable and enjoyable one. With so much to do and see, perhaps you could return again soon. This WebQuest adventure to the Magic Kingdom will probably take about 2 weeks to complete, depending on the choices made, class size, and age of the students. It has been designed for middle school students and adapted for Title I learners. Maybe your next visit could include more days in the Magic Kingdom or a visit to one of the other parks in Walt Disney World. This would help expand your WebQuest adventure. Remember, all of this is the result of one man’s dream. You too can believe in the “magic” of your dreams!
Suggested Extension Activities:
  • Write a story about a person’s first trip to the Magic Kingdom
  • Write an essay about Walt Disney and how his kingdom began.
  • Create a word search puzzle using Magic Kingdom vocabulary.
  • Conduct a survey of classmates and teachers to see who has been to the Magic Kingdom how recent.
  • Create a PowerPoint slide for the information found and advice for a one-day adventure to the Magic Kingdom.
